The China Renewable Energy Scale-up Program (CRESP) has been developed by the Government of China (GOC) in cooperation with the World Bank (WB) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) to provide assistance with the implementation of a renewable energy policy development and investment program. It aimed at promoting the scale-up development of renewable energy, providing high efficiency commercial renewable energy to the market. The first phase began from 2005 and ended in 2010, covering investment project and technical assistant. The second phase of CRESP began from December of 2013, which consists of policy research, renewable energy integration and technical design, renewable energy technology improvement, renewable energy pilot demonstration and capacity building and investment. CRESP Program Management Office is in charge of the implementation of CRESP under the lead of National Energy Agency.
September 14, 2016, National Energy Administration issued the Notice of Development of CSP Pilot Project
which approved 20 pilot projects with total capacity of 1349MW. As a part of RE Technology Improvement Component, PMO plan to support CSP Pilot project technique support activities through proposal competition. This activity is aim to facilitate and encourage the developers, designing institutions and EPC contractors who work on the first batch of 20 CSP pilot demonstration projects to introduce international experience to improve the likelihood of success for these pilot CSP projects. The activity will be supported by cost sharing by CRESP.
Parties such as CSP pilot project developers, designing institutions, EPC contractors are welcome to respond to this invitation if their activities are directly relevant to CSP pilot project construction.
Activities to be supported in the following areas:
· Hiring international firms to support the design and construction of the pilot CSP projects; focus on solar field (mirror or tower) system integration;
· Hiring international firms to support pilot CSP power plant system integration, particularly in the case of not integrated EPC contractors, support the developers in system integration..

The proposal and all information provided will be treated by the PMO as highly confidential.
Eligible entities replying to this tender do this at their own risk.
